Booking terms & conditions

These terms outline how bookings work with TerraTembo Safaris. Full, signed terms are shared with your detailed quote before any payment is made.

1. Enquiries & quotes

All enquiries are obligation-free. We prepare a tailored proposal and quotation based on your requirements. Quotes are valid for the period stated and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

2. Confirmation & deposit

A booking is confirmed once you accept the quotation in writing and pay the deposit. A deposit (typically 30% of the total) secures your lodges, camps and services. Some properties and peak-season dates may require a higher or non-refundable deposit, which will be stated clearly in your quote.

3. Balance payment

The balance is due no later than 60 days before travel. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

4. Prices

Prices are quoted per person and based on rates, taxes and exchange rates at the time of quoting. We reserve the right to adjust a quote for changes beyond our control (for example government taxes, park fees or fuel surcharges) before final confirmation.

5. Changes by you

We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes after confirmation. Amendments are subject to availability and any costs charged by suppliers.

6. Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance — including medical, evacuation, cancellation and curtailment cover — is a condition of travel and the responsibility of each traveller.

7. Responsibility

We act as a booking agent for the lodges, camps, airlines and other suppliers that provide your services, and select trusted partners with care. We are not liable for loss, injury or delay arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
