Arusha · Serengeti · Lake Manyara · Tarangire
Our Classic Northern Tanzania Safari combines the country's most celebrated wildlife destinations — the endless Serengeti, the baobabs of Tarangire and the dramatic Rift Valley — with authentic cultural encounters and warm Tanzanian hospitality, in comfortable mid-range lodges and camps.

Welcomed at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your Arusha hotel beneath Mount Meru, surrounded by coffee plantations — the perfect introduction to East Africa before dinner.

Travel west through the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing Maasai villages and volcanic scenery, into the legendary Serengeti — 'endless plains' — for a first afternoon game drive as the light turns amber.

A full day among lion, leopard and cheetah, elephant and giraffe, with a bush picnic lunch and, in season, the Great Migration. Sundowners and a campfire beneath a blanket of stars.

A morning drive, then travel to the Rift Valley and Lake Manyara — famed tree-climbing lions, elephant herds, baboons and, in the dry season, thousands of pink flamingos.

Towering baobabs and the life-giving Tarangire River draw vast elephant herds, buffalo, giraffe and over 500 bird species — an intimate, quieter finale to your wildlife adventure.

Visit a welcoming local community to meet artisans and farmers and share in their traditions, then transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
No two days are ever the same — but most follow this gentle, golden rhythm. Everything flexes around you and your guide’s advice.
An early start with coffee as the sun rises. Animals are most active in the cool morning light — the best time for sightings and photography.
Return to camp for a hearty brunch, or take a picnic and stay out longer if the wildlife is calling.
The hottest part of the day is for resting — a siesta, a swim, or simply watching the plains from your veranda as the heat shimmers.
Set out again as the day cools for an afternoon game drive, often the most rewarding hours as predators begin to stir.
Pause for a drink in hand as the African sun goes down — one of the safari’s great rituals.
Return to camp for dinner beneath a sky thick with stars, the distant sound of the wild your soundtrack, before you plan tomorrow with your guide.
