Welcomed at Julius Nyerere International Airport, connect on a bush flight into Nyerere National Park. A first game drive leads to a boat safari on the Rufiji River — hippos, crocodiles and elephants at the water's edge — before dinner beneath the stars.
A full day across floodplains, channels and woodland alive with elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion and extraordinary birdlife. One of the few parks where walking safaris are permitted — your day may blend game drives, time on the Rufiji and guided walks.
A dawn walk with an experienced guide and armed ranger, then a scheduled flight to Ruaha — a land of baobabs, escarpments and palm-lined rivers renowned for lion, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog. Afternoon game drive to your lodge.
